Hialeah Airport Motel

The staff made us feel welcome, and the room was clean. The location worked perfectly for what we needed. No complaints!

Traffic was loud all night, and the old AC unit made noise without cooling the room. There’s no shuttle or breakfast. Avoid this place unless you’re desperate for somewhere to stay.

The noise made for a miserable night. People next door had their TVs and music turned all the way up, kids were screaming, and adults were yelling. Traffic from the hotel’s spot right on route 27 was deafening, too. My room was freezing because the heater didn't work. It was clean, but there were dead cockroaches in the bathroom and the walls were badly banged up. I picked this hotel because it was the cheapest in the area over the holiday week. With signs for daily and weekly rentals and a front desk behind bulletproof glass, I should've realized it was a mistake.

The room was awful, with a dirty floor and an AC that rattled loudly all night and kept me awake. Check-in nearly became a problem because it ended at midnight. We started calling at 7:15 PM to say we'd be late and tried again and again until 11:30 PM, but nobody answered. Luckily someone was there when we arrived right at midnight. While standing in the small lobby, I secretly called the motel and heard the phone ringing loudly as the man checking us in ignored it. When we told him we'd been calling for hours, he shrugged and said he was “very busy” and sometimes didn't hear the phone. We could hear it just fine. I do NOT recommend this cheap, poorly run motel. Spend your money somewhere else.
