The bar was easily the best part of my stay at Hilton Garden Inn - Hickory. The team there were attentive and friendly, and made it feel relaxed and welcoming. The front desk handled check-in efficiently and professionally, though they didn't seem especially warm or enthusiastic. My room was clean, but looked thrown together. After 9pm, it was hard to find anyone to help in the lobby market if you needed a drink or something quick. It's a solid hotel, with room to improve for the price.

Even with a snowstorm, the staff kept the service flawless. Terry and Lisa, who ran the bar and grill, were outstanding. They took care with every order and went above and beyond. The women at the front desk were also welcoming and always ready to answer questions or help. I had an amazing stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hickory, North Carolina, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'd highly recommend it in the area.

The hot tub was incredibly relaxing. We used it after arriving Saturday, then again Sunday morning when it opened at 6:00 AM, before having the delicious breakfast buffet. We drove three hours for a concert, and a friend in Hickory suggested Hilton Garden Inn. It lived up to the recommendation, with an excellent room and courteous, helpful staff.

My only complaint was the toilet, which sat so low I felt like I was six inches off the floor. I hope the handicapped rooms are better, and I'll ask for one next time. Otherwise, the hotel was beautiful, super clean, and very quiet and soundproof. The staff were nice, and there was endless free coffee and bottled water.

The beds weren't comfortable, but the property is beautiful and the staff, including the housekeepers, were wonderful. The front desk team were helpful and very nice. Ryan was especially sweet. I'd stay here again.
