We picked this place for its short distance from Wesleyan University, and it worked perfectly for our trip. The rooms and bathrooms were roomy, and the whole house felt peaceful and comfortable. Clark was so welcoming and thoughtful, with cozy slippers and a surprise batch of homemade gingerbread that made us feel at home. A lovely bed and breakfast.

We came for a fall getaway and loved being close to all that beautiful nature. The house has real historic charm, and the warm hospitality and little personal touches made our stay even nicer. Such a great B+B.

The beds were so comfortable, we both slept better than we had in ages. Clark was an interesting guy, and there’s so much character in this huge old house. It’s basically an 1800s mansion, with a history that would leave anyone interested in the past wide-eyed. We were also treated to breakfast, coffee, and cookies. We’d definitely stay with Clark again if we’re back in the area.

Our first morning was spent working and reading in the beautiful meadow, full of wildflowers and surrounded by trees. It was a lovely place to combine a work retreat with exploring central Connecticut. The house and grounds were great, and Clark was an amazing host. Thanks for everything!

I was glad to stay at Clark’s home again. It’s not quite the same house I knew when I was Clark’s classmate, but it’s been fixed up really well. You can see how much care and love he and his wife have put into it. The layout works very well, and we’ll definitely stay there again on our next trip to CT. Steve and Sandy Lewis
