I paid for a room online, but when I got there they wouldn’t let me check in. They said road construction meant I couldn’t drive to the hotel, then told me there was nothing they could do and to take Hotels.com to court because it wasn’t their problem. I was still charged despite being able to book the room. These people suck.

The room was spotless, and the owner was kind and accommodating. They even gave me free water when I arrived. It’s a lovely little boutique Inn right in the High Point Market area, and this is where I’ll stay next time I’m in High Point.

I’ve stayed here twice now, and Jay is terrific, kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and the staff are wonderful. Today I came back to find someone had put the food I’d left on a bag into a little basket. Such a sweet thing to do. It’s also just minutes from HPU.

Atrium Inn was easily better than any hotel experience I’ve had before. The customer service went above and beyond, and they got the basics right too. If I need a hotel in High Point again, I’m staying here. Absolutely phenomenal.

The staff were polite and helpful, and I enjoyed chatting with the owner. My mother had trouble with the bed, though I found mine comfortable. We didn’t manage to find the continental breakfast, but I’m sure it would have been good if we had. Hope we get back to this area for a visit sometime.
