The room itself had a great layout and size, and the hotel is very nice and new. They did a great job with the architecture and reuse of the old building. The non-housekeeping staff were spectacular and very helpful. But on arrival I found hair on the bathroom floor, toenails and bits of paper on the carpet. That was a major turn off. Run the vacuum between guests. It shouldn’t be difficult, and it should be mandatory. I agree with many of the other reviews, but the rooms need to be cleaned properly between stays. Management must check the work, or rooms won’t get cleaned. I don’t enjoy traveling much anymore, and this is a big reason. My son said I should have asked for another room, and maybe he was right, but who’s to say that one had been vacuumed? My wife spent 12 days in Germany and France recently and saw staff vacuuming at every place she stayed. I can’t remember the last time I saw that in a US hotel. She paid basically less than $100 a night, sometimes less, and the rooms were consistently cleaner and better kept. Sad but true.

The rooms are large and really nice, with lots of storage, surfaces, outlets, and charging outlets. The staff were pleasant, and it’s easy to find, accessible, and conveniently located. There’s outdoor space with a fireplace and patios, plus conference rooms and several seating and lounge areas. It was brand new, maybe October 2025, and still had that new car smell.

The breakfast team kept the buffet clean and well stocked, and Sarah was especially cheerful and attentive. She checked that guests were happy and offered help, which made breakfast feel special. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful too, and made check in smooth while giving me the information I needed. I stayed at the brand new Springhill Hotel in High Point, NC, and it exceeded my expectations. The design, decor, and layout are lovely, with modern amenities and comfortable rooms that made the hotel feel welcoming and relaxing. I had a fantastic stay and will definitely return. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting High Point, NC.

I was in town for a wedding and had a really lovely stay at SpringHill Suites by Marriott High Point Downtown. There was plenty of parking, and I was greeted with so much enthusiasm. Both the lobby and breakfast area were very clean, while my room and bathroom were spacious. The blackout curtains were good quality, and I slept so well. I also had my dog with me, and staff were friendly and accommodating. I’ve had hotel staff be annoyed or rude about my pet before, so this was a great experience.

Aaliyah made a big difference to our weekend. She was warm and attentive from the minute we arrived, and went out of her way to help plan and set up my son’s engagement at the hotel. She was thoughtful and patient, and cared about making the moment special for our family. We’ll always remember her part in it. We were at SpringHill Suites in downtown High Point to celebrate my son’s graduation from HPU. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the stay went smoothly. I really appreciate the service and would stay again without hesitation.
