After I got a confirmation number and accepted their terms, I woke up to find a few hundred extra dollars had been taken from my bank account because of a computer error on their end. The first two people I spoke with were rude. The Operating Manager, Jamie, was calm and thoughtful, but said it was out of her hands. Devon Allio had told her the discount wouldn’t be given because of their mistake. They did agree to return my money, bless them. Still, I can’t recommend them anymore after what felt like a breach of our agreement. That’s the southern hospitality this town is known for. Don’t book here!

The rooms are spacious, clean, and so comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better. It’s easy to park and you can walk everywhere. This is the Ritz Carlton for dogs, and for people too! The best place to stay in Highlands.

Everything else was fantastic, and we appreciated the place enough to highly recommend it. Our room was very clean and quiet, and the reviews were right about the great service. The mattress needs replacing because it’s too firm. My husband has back pain and prefers a firm bed, and even he agreed. That’s it. Even with the mattress, I still give it five stars.

We and our pup had a really relaxing stay, and we enjoyed seeing all the well-behaved dogs staying there at the same time. The inn was wonderfully pet-welcoming, beautifully decorated, and right at the edge of downtown, so it’s easy to walk around. The room was super clean. The staff clearly like each other, their jobs, and dogs. We hope to come again!
