I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Hawaii, and this private accommodation was the best for me. Diana is a lovely hostess who enjoys chatting and always has good tips. You’re living in her home, and that’s part of the experience. There’s a parking spot for each room, and everyone removes their shoes before coming inside, which keeps the house clean. The kitchen and downstairs lounge are spotless. I spent many evenings on the veranda thinking over the day and listening to the frogs. Rooms 1, 2, and 3 share a bathroom. It was very clean during my stay, though that depends on how tidy the guests are. Towels are in the rooms, and each room has a fridge for food you want to prepare in the kitchen. Remember, you’re out in the countryside, not in a hotel. I was so impressed that I’ll spend my next Hawaii holiday here too, instead of in a hotel.
