This is a condominium complex rather than a hotel, with owners renting out their units by the week. The two- and three-bedroom condos all have well-equipped kitchens, though the furnishings are dated. Management is attentive, and an on-site maintenance expert is skilled and easy to reach. The location is excellent: a private gate leads to the beach, two blocks away, and Coligny Plaza is three-quarters of a mile away, an easy walk or bike ride.

The pool was great, and the area is a good place to see wildlife. Check-in and check-out were easy, and maintenance came right away when we needed them. They were very polite. We initially thought the air conditioner was broken, but the bedroom curtains were broken and had been left wide open, so the afternoon sun overwhelmed it. The place was clean except for the smaller bathroom, which someone had forgotten to clean. Luckily, we had gloves and cleaning supplies. I’d definitely recommend it.

There are two nice pools with plenty of places to sit, and the beach access is convenient. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, with lots of trees and everything kept up very well. It’s close to shopping, restaurants, and bike trails, and a great base for riding your bike around.

Our family of five fit comfortably in the clean, well-appointed two-bedroom condo. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The beach is a short walk away. We had a wonderful week at Hilton Head.
