The beach boardwalks have several sets of stairs, which is a real hassle if you're hauling things in a wagon. Parking under cover is tight, so maneuver carefully. The condo had a nice view. The pool is on the small side, though it never felt too crowded. There was often a lot of sand in it. The pool area has both sunny and shaded spots, plus a small hot tub.

The view was great, but that's about the only positive. We were very disappointed. The condo needs to be taken off the market for maintenance. Based on earlier reviews, Vacasa knew about the problems, and its website only shows 5-star reviews, so look into what others have said. We told Vacasa about these issues on arrival day, or to its representative in person, unless otherwise noted. There was no TV service for four days. We spent two hours waiting with a technician to get it fixed, and Vacasa had no one there. The oven was broken the entire rental. A technician diagnosed it, but it was never repaired, and again we had to wait without a Vacasa representative. Only one of the four cooktop burners worked. They were working at first, then stopped, so I told Vacasa at the end of the rental. The listing promised two hours of pickleball each day at Palmetto Dunes. When I first reserved, PD had no idea what I meant. I returned the next day and PD said it would bill Vacasa for the rental; someone eventually sorted it out. All the blinds were broken, the master mattress sagged and needed replacing, and the closet sliders were hard to open because they were rusted. A toilet paper holder was broken too. Two broken boogie boards and a chair were left outside our door on arrival, and nobody cleared or cleaned the area. The window was gross and dirty, and I have a photo. The pots didn't sit properly, making it a chore to cook on the one working burner. All the bulbs seemed to be 40 watts, leaving the whole condo dim.

A beautiful, comfortable vacation spot with a swimming pool close to the beach. Wonderful place to stay.

The condo was spacious and beautiful, with a fantastic view. Loved the pool and how easy it was to get to the beach.
