We loved our first trip to the Island and would definitely return. The area is meticulously kept, the views are superb, and the condo was spotless and in perfect shape. We rented through VRBO, and the price felt justified. Renters from Palmetto Dunes can use the private beach; in July it was wide open, with warm water and no seaweed. There's a small pool, but with the ocean next door that wasn't a big deal. Bikes make it easy to get around, and rentals aren't that expensive. The one thing that bothered us was the lawn maintenance starting at 8am every day. They blew sand or grass each morning, and it was noisy. We were a little disappointed by harbor town: it costs $6 just to drive into the southern part, and there isn't much to do if you haven't made plans ahead of time. It was pricey too. The rest of the island was great.

The grounds are well maintained, and there’s plenty of parking, covered and uncovered. The pool area was very nice, with a shower and bathrooms. Our kids loved watching the fish and turtles in the pond. It’s an easy walk to the beach, though the steps down are the only drawback since there are no ramps.

I'm loving every bit of our May 2019 stay at Barrington Court in Palmetto Dunes. The company we have with us is wonderful too. Best vacation of my life, and it's not even half over. I could live here forever if I could afford it. Thank God for making this happen. My first and last biggest vacation ever. I couldn't ask for more. Amazing time!
