The location was perfect, the pool area was nice, and our condo was clean, with no dirt, dust or bugs. When the lock gave me trouble on arrival, the owner was quick to respond and helpful. The beach itself was very nice, and although it was a long walk, the boardwalk was pleasant and a shuttle was offered. I needed the beach cart listed as being in the condo, but we managed without it. The building was old, with sections of the garage ceiling missing. Inside, it looked like someone had taken on DIY projects: old repainted furniture and obvious touch-up paint all over the walls. The master bathroom was so cramped that I had to remove the toilet paper roll just to sit on the toilet, and I'm average size. Water pressure was incredibly weak, and the beds were uncomfortable, though the couch and kitchen table were nice. There was a strange smell and obvious water damage around the door. The kitchen was so tiny you couldn't unload the dishwasher and put dishes away in the cabinets, and there was no ice maker. We made it work and had a great stay, but I wouldn't stay there again.

We were about a third of a mile from the beach, walking along a boardwalk that was okay. The condos were smaller than I'd expected, and ours wasn't the cleanest, with mildew around some AC vents. Its entry door was swollen and split at the jamb, so opening or closing it was difficult and loud. I'd call it economy level at best, though it wasn't bad. And keep an eye out for gators, they walk through the complex.

Our trip was excellent apart from the accommodation, and we won't stay with Unforgettable paradise again. They ask guests to review them on their FB, but you can't. After our stay, they sent me a message apologizing if my own bed seemed small compared with the one in our Unforgettable Paradise room. That really takes the cake, because the bed had completely collapsed on all four sides. Unless you slept right in the middle, you'd fall off. The children's room had an electrical socket beside the bed with no face plate, and there was no crock pot as advertised. The balcony door was so filthy you could barely see through it, and there were marks all over the walls. The sauna ceiling had a big crack. Under our building, the garage ceiling was literally falling down and water was running out. I was terrified to walk underneath it.

The condo was nice, but the place is dated and the flooring outside our unit and down the hallway really needs a good cleaning. We probably won't stay there again.

The heat made this vacation miserable. We rented a condo at the Hilton Head Resort through AIRBNB because we wanted to cook instead of eating junk, but there was no AC. It was so hot I got a terrible headache, and we had to waste most of our food. AIRBNB never offered to make up for the trouble we went through. Worst vacation ever. Never again.
