Marriott's Heritage Club

We stayed 12/28-1/4 and had a short walk to the Harbour Town NYE party. I’d prefer Harbour Club overall. The villa was nice, but moving our things in was awkward: you have to get a cart, take it up the ramp, then back down to a small elevator to reach the next level. The master bath toilet was shut off because it was leaking, and we couldn’t use it until someone finally fixed it the next afternoon. Free golf and tennis may be a big draw here, but we didn’t use either.

We came for tennis lessons at the Smith Stearns Tennis Academy, and the courts were an easy walk away. There were also some very nice restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we loved the large rooms, outdoor pool, and hot tub. They hosted a nice wine and cheese reception in a cool upstairs loft, and it was well attended. A very nice stay.

This is our favorite place. It’s quiet and feels more geared toward adults than the other resorts.

The resort is clean and quiet, with a pool, rental bikes, hot tub, and BBQ grills. It’s about 200 yards from the Harbour Town marina, so you can visit the harbour without needing your car. The resort is right across the street from the Harbour Town Golf Links clubhouse, which is open to the public. I’d highly recommend staying here if you want to visit the harbour.
