Ocean Breeze Villa, Pools & Tennis: Walk to Beach condo

A great base to stay from, with the beach very close by.

Ocean Breeze has felt like a second home for 23 years. I may have first stayed here while I was still in my mother's womb. It's one of the island's most unique and comfortable places. You can get some peace and quiet away from the tourists, while still being close enough to party when you want to get down. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The dirty sheets and bathroom, along with weak air conditioning in the lower-level bedroom, made this vacation memorable for the wrong reasons. Finding the pools turned into a treasure hunt, and a property map would've helped. The walk to the beach was 1.5 blocks, as the drone flies. In the kitchen, missing cabinet doors under the sink at least made cleanup easy. We had to buy a dish towel because none was provided, and there were only three coffee mugs, so those went on our Dollar Tree list too. We also had to ask for a coffee maker, repairs to two bathroom towel bars and shelves, two broken stair spindles, and a broken headboard. A new washer had been delivered, but the wall and stair edging were damaged in the process. That's OK, we found a great Dollar Tree, bought spackle, and fixed those areas ourselves, along with two random holes in the great room.

Unit 81 was beautifully decorated, and it's a nice complex, but the beach is a long walk away. I left my Alexa speaker in the unit, and Property Host Robert said he would return it but never did. The Property Host was unreliable and unresponsive. I wouldn't stay there again.
