Ocean Walk 513 by RedAwning

I stayed recently in unit #209. The place only has an AC unit in the living room, so both bedrooms were hot, and the ceiling fan in the second bedroom didn't work. It sleeps four comfortably at most. The furniture needs updating, and the website photos look edited to make everything appear more polished and glossy. I could also see mold on the door frame.

Unit 307 was outstanding, very clean and well cared for by the owner. It has two large, separate bedrooms at opposite ends, plus two dens or living rooms with TVs so the kids can have space of their own. The pools are clean, the tennis courts are nice, and there are shady spots around the property. We'll stay here again.

The building is well kept, the location is good, and our two-bedroom place was three times as spacious as it looked. The indoor and outdoor pools were a nice bonus. Our only complaint was the people on the neighboring balcony smoking cigarettes and pot. The smoke made our balcony unusable. It's still not legal in SC. Please switch to edibles. Nasty.

The room was large and not far from the beach, but maintenance and cleanliness were lacking. When we arrived, sticky purple, candy-looking stuff was smeared on the hallway wall leading to the part B bedroom. It was a hassle to get anyone to deal with it when I called. A few days later, after enjoying the balcony, I noticed the railing was loose. The bolt on the left had eroded until its head broke off, and I could unscrew the right bolt with my fingers. The reservation people said the cleaning service handled the wall, and the homeowners association, I think that's what they called it, handled the railing. We couldn't use the balcony. After about four days, I still hadn't heard anything about a repair. The master bed was propped up at the foot with a kitchen pot because one of its legs had buckled.
