The Players Club resort lets you use the Spinnaker Resort facilities next door, including the pools, hot tub, and workout facilities, with a pass they provide. Our unit was immaculate, without a single smudge, mark, or worn spot. We travel a lot, and this place really stands out for how well it’s maintained. Two huge thumbs up to the caretakers!

The front desk staff were kind and efficient, and the place smelled clean. We got our deposit back quickly, but it wasn’t worth trading our home resort points for this stay. There’s no elevator, barely enough outlets for a family of four, and we had to make a special trip to buy surge protectors. The spiral stairs to the upstairs loft bedroom have vertical rails at least 12 inches apart, so I was glad our youngest grandchild wasn’t with us. There were only four chairs on the indoor pool deck for adults watching the kids. If you’re used to modern travel accommodations, don’t stay here.

We only stayed two nights, and the place was convenient for getting around the area. We’d expected a hotel room with daily service, but accidentally booked a timeshare instead. It was comfortable for two, had all the utensils for cooking and meal prep, and free laundry was a plus. The pillows were like rocks, though, and the toilet paper dispenser was awkward to reach. The paper was one-ply.

The ladies in the office were super nice, and the rooms were great. I only wish ours had two bathrooms. Players Club Reaort in Hilton Head is in the best location for getting to the beach and shopping. I hope to go back.

Karen and the whole staff were warm and friendly. Our studio was comfortable and well equipped, with an easy route to the HHI bike loop. Being close to Coligny beach and plaza was great too. Highly recommend.
