Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island

The room was spotless and comfortable, with a lovely ocean view. We had two dinners at the Driftwood Bar, and both were great. The breakfast package was well worth getting. We were celebrating a special time in life, and the staff made the whole visit even better. Jeff went above and beyond and was so friendly and accommodating.

We had such a relaxing time at sonesta last September, my husband, our one-year-old, and me. The upgrades were beautiful, and we enjoyed bingo by the pool. The food was great too, especially the phenomenal seafood dip. nigil at the front desk did so much to make sure our stay was wonderful, and we really appreciate his customer service. This is a late review, but we're definitely coming back next year.

We had a few lovely days here, even though the weather wasn't great. We still got to unwind by the pool during the day and the fire pit at night. The food was delicious each time we ate at the hotel, including the cauliflower and pear soup, which I hadn't even known was a thing. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the front desk team arranged a nice amenity for our celebration. Every staff member we met was friendly and very helpful. The stay was faultless, and we'd gladly return when we're next in the US, for business or a holiday.

Jelin at the front desk was kind, but the Palmetto Suite fell short of what I'd expect from a premier suite for over $500 a night. The room's air conditioning stayed at 65 and stopped during the night. The hotel said that was standard when it was cooler outside, though we've experienced the opposite at other hotels regardless of weather. The bathroom lights couldn't be dimmed, and its doors squeaked. The bathroom update apparently left the old doors in place, and they're awful. The towels were old and smelled, and the toilet paper was very rough. Breakfast was served in a warm restaurant with dirty carpet. The hotel in general lacked cleanliness.
