Spark by Hilton Bluffton Hilton Head Island

The breakfast had just what we wanted, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, and bagels, enough to get us back on the road. The Folgers coffee was spot on. Check-in was easy, and the receptionist was pleasant and efficient. She found us a quiet third-floor room. A totally fine stay!

The location is really convenient, close to restaurants and shopping, and the front desk lady was nice. The beds and pillows were comfortable, but the noise made it hard to rest. The walls are thin, so I could hear doors slamming, snoring, and kids shouting up and down the halls. I’d picked a king room online and got two queens instead. It wasn’t a big problem, just not what I chose. I also couldn’t find a fridge in the room, though I didn’t check the closet, and I thought that was pretty standard. In my opinion, Hilton is subpar.

If you’re tired and just need a bed and bathroom, this place will do. I’d put it one step above a Motel 6 and two below a Hampton Inn. The free breakfast was okay if coffee and a few calories are all you need. The hotel seems cheaply built, with a few inexpensive fixtures added to dress it up. Noise was the problem. The walls and floors really are thin, as others have said. The first night we heard constant noise from upstairs from 11 pm to 1 am, and the second night it went on from 3 to 4 am. Maybe the noise itself isn’t their fault, but I doubt they’d give me any kind of discount if I complained again.

The convenient location made my trip easier, and the staff were welcoming and kind. My room was clean and comfortable, so I felt relaxed the whole time. I really enjoyed staying here and would come back and recommend it to others.
