The only real problem was the elevator. Of all the times we tried it, it worked only a couple of times. Still, we had a very good visit. The room was quite clean, and the amenities were very nice. We enjoyed the updated pool, though the water was cold most days. Beach access was great, with plenty of room to set up our chairs.

We loved our stay at Villamare, and the complex seemed well cared for overall. Getting through the beach gate was a bit annoying when our hands were full and we had a wagon. The code seemed unnecessary, and there was no signal to show it had worked, so we had to tug or push the gate to check. The elevators also sometimes needed a couple of tries before moving. I told the cleaning staff, and they said they'd let management know.

We packed in two day trips, one to Savannah, Georgia and one to Charleston, SC, while staying at 1505. Back at the condo, we had beautiful views of the pond, pool, and ocean, and the place was spacious and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we found everything needed for cooking several meals. We also grilled steaks on the large, clean Traeger grills by the adult pool. Carolyn Spicuzza was an amazing host, answering every question right away and giving us detailed information. When we asked the family if they'd come back, everyone said yes. Thanks, Carolyn, for making our family vacation so memorable. It was hard to leave such a fun, beautiful place.

They started construction while we were here with young kids, and it was unreal. Yelling, sawing, and hammering began at 8AM. We couldn't sleep or use the balcony, and they were literally throwing things onto it. I liked the place before all that.
