We liked that the place was a little off the beaten path, and Christy and her husband made us feel right at home. We were there for our anniversary and had a really enjoyable stay. The breakfast from Ozzie's was amazing, especially with the Covid arrangements.

Maplewood Inn was a great base for so many of our favorite places in the Berkshires, and it really felt like a hidden gem. The rooms were spacious and lovely, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Christy and Stephen were generous hosts, and breakfast was the best. Mark and I had some great conversations and shared life experiences over breakfast. We hope to return on another visit. If you want somewhere small, peaceful, and home-like, this B&B is a great find. The owner makes everything, and breakfast is a real feast. We started with fruit salad and apple-blueberry oatmeal, then had sliced ham, bacon, and sausage, homemade waffles, and finally a hash of diced potatoes, beans, and spices topped with poached eggs and hollandaise. There’s also a mini fridge stocked with water, plus a Keurig and assorted teas and coffee flavors. The hospitality was great, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The hosts made us feel welcome, and everything seemed thoughtfully looked after. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast. It’s a charming old inn, tucked into the beautiful Berkshires, and felt like a hidden gem.
