Courtyard Villas

The villa was worth the money, and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a good bed. The kitchen could use more attention: there was just one coffee cup, no spoons, and the creamers were expired and curdled. We also waited 55 minutes for someone to answer the phone and give us the access codes.

Lovely architecture and bathroom tiles, and the service was easy. It’s close to the main road, restaurants, and stores, but tucked away from traffic and noise.

This has become my go-to in Hobbs. It’s usually cheaper than the Holiday Inn Express, with rates that compete with the local hotels, and I can park right outside my rental condo. The place feels like home, including the washer and dryer. There’s a full kitchen with a Keurig; I bring my own K-cups, though the Folgers they provide is fine too. The two full bathrooms have really nice, large walk-in showers. I also had no trouble streaming Netflix in HD, and Speedtest showed over 10 MBs, despite what the previous reviewer said.

We left after the first night of a four-night stay because the deadbolt wouldn’t lock from inside and we didn’t feel safe. There were other problems too. I left a voicemail to check out since nobody answers the phone, then left several more messages asking for a call back. It’s been two months with no response and no refund. They kept my money.
