Comfort Inn and Suites adj to Akwesasne Mohawk Casino

I drove in from Montreal, a little under two hours, and found the casino easily. There was lots of parking on a Sunday night, and I didn’t have to wait for a craps spot, which is unusual compared with other casinos I’ve been to. The minimum was $5, and they have the ATS bonus game, which I find the most fun to play. The dealers were a bit inexperienced, though one more experienced dealer was helping them, and I had a good time at the table. The casino is pretty big, with lots of slots and a decent number of table games. I noticed a cigarette smell near the entrance, but not once I was inside. There’s a separate smoking area with automatic doors, though I didn’t go in, so I can’t say what games are there. Staff were nice and service was good. The buffet was closed by the time I finished playing, and the prices seemed a little high to me, though maybe that’s standard in the US. There’s free soda from a self-serve machine. I don’t drink, so I can’t say whether alcohol is free at the tables. It was a great visit, and I’d recommend the casino if you’re nearby.

I enjoyed my time living with the Akwesasne Tribe for a couple of months. We stopped in and stayed the night, and the rooms were nice and spacious. The staff were really friendly and the service was awesome. I also had a big, nice breakfast before checking into the Partridge House just down the street 😋😀

The casino had a great buzz on Sunday of President's day weekend, even though it was busy, I had no trouble finding a machine. There seemed to be lots of new ones on the floor. The rooms have had a recent update too, with new wallpaper, carpeting, and flooring, including in the corridors, and they look fantastic. The Tavern restaurant is always good, and Laura, the hostess, is so sweet and accommodating every time I visit. The hotel front desk staff are friendly and efficient too. I checked out the fitness room on the 2nd floor, and it was nice. If you haven’t been here before or it’s been a while, I recommend checking it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Slots are good, and the free play is generous. The hotel rooms are good too, though the bathrooms could use a refresh. Midweek, not all the casino tables are open, and the Maple dining room is closed.
