Brad's Desert Inn

Good value and a manager who was easy to work with. This little retro Route 66 hotel has small rooms, but they do the job for a night’s sleep. There's a small fridge and microwave, along with the usual basics like shampoo and a coffee maker. The railroad seems to run right behind the property, so if you're sensitive to noise, bring earplugs.

We were looking forward to staying here, but were left very disappointed and out extra money after finding another place at short notice. We had to do that because the room we were given belonged to another guest and contained spoiled food, clothes, and money. A helpful maintenance worker was there and contacted the owner for us, and we eventually got a cash refund. But the check-in instructions we'd been given were wrong, which was a problem since the front desk isn't staffed around the clock. In response to your reply: you left us in someone else's room and, as you said, had no other room available. After we'd found and paid for another hotel at extra cost, you texted to say you'd just had a cancellation. I bet those people saw the state of the place and wanted to avoid it. We didn't cancel. You failed to provide a clean room.

We’re on a cross country road trip, and this was the best night’s sleep we've had all week. Such a great place, with a cute room, comfortable beds, and lovely pillows. I can't recommend it enough!

A tucked away, hole in the wall sort of place, but it has a lot of character and really feels like the area. The staff were great, and it was clean and comfortable. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're nearby.
