Days Inn by Wyndham Holbrook

We've had problems here before, and this stay was the last straw. The first room smelled strongly of cow manure. I don't know how housekeeping missed it or why management rented out such a disgusting room, especially when the place was mostly empty. The second room was beat up and very dark. The front desk couldn't program our key cards to work for the full stay, so we had to return to the office several times. We won't come back.

The room was clean, with soft linens and comfortable, neatly made beds, and there were plenty of towels. Late check-in was very quick and the key was ready. The rate was great, but there was no water or bottled water available, and the vending machines were empty. I missed breakfast and wanted to see if I could get a piece of fruit, but nobody was around the front desk at checkout time, 11. Also, there's no elevator for anyone with disabilities. There were no rooms downstairs, so my daughter had to carry my things up.

Across our 11 days traveling through Arizona and Utah, this was easily the best room we had. It was spacious and comfortable. Superb hotel.

Clean rooms, nice staff, and a good pool. Breakfast was about as basic as it gets. Best value in Holbrook, in my opinion.
