Greentree Inn Holbrook

Avoid this place. The front desk people were surly, and our room floor was absolutely filthy. There was only one face cloth, the sink faucet wobbled, and the ice machine had no ice. Breakfast was a joke: the hot water dispenser didn't dispense hot water, the only fruit was hard apples, and the fruit juice was colored water. The shampoo dispenser was full of watered-down shampoo, and the body wash in the shower was empty.

The room was spacious, and we liked having the vanity outside the bathroom. We were on the second floor, with no elevator, and there were sketchy neighbors. The desk clerk was there 24/7, but couldn't move us to a ground-floor room. When the hand soap ran out, we had to go get more ourselves instead of having someone bring it.

Sandy was so sweet and helpful, sorting out a room for the night and sharing useful information. We'd come over after a rough experience at the Motel 6 next door, and this was much better. Our room smelled nice and was very clean. Breakfast was limited but good, and the location is perfect. Thanks, Greentree and Sandy!

Such a cute place and great value for what we paid. The staff were super friendly, the room was clean, and it had the usual things like a microwave, TV, and fridge. Hot water, soft pillows, and an okay breakfast selection too. They allow pets, with a very reasonable $15 per dog fee. The only downside was our broken, unusable security door lock, though we didn't need to use it. The area felt safe, and we had no trouble leaving our moving truck outside. We'd definitely stay again if we came this way.
