We rented two rooms, and the desk said I’d only paid for one. Luckily, I had the reservation number and receipt on my phone to show them. Make sure you keep your confirmation handy. The front desk staff were rude, and when I asked for an iron, the woman said they didn’t have one while sitting on the couch. The shower faucet in our room didn’t work either. :/

The room floor was dirty, and there was dog poop all over the sidewalk for three days straight. My key stopped working every time I went outside, and nobody offered room service during my three-day stay. The pool was closed, which was the reason I booked. The owners’ family spent the day sitting in the lobby. I could go on.

The manager eventually sorted out the extra charge professionally and apologized, but this was still the worst hotel experience I’ve had. I’d already paid $200 online, then at check-in they charged another $400+ to my card. The desk employee kept changing his explanation and wasn’t helpful. His strong accent also made him hard to understand. Even after it was resolved, he stayed disrespectful through the interaction and the rest of my stay, and wouldn’t apologize.

I was between homes for a couple nights, and the room itself was fine. Breakfast had very few choices, and the service wasn’t great. It’s hot and uncomfortable in the lobby, and there’s no elevator, so ask for a first-floor room. I also had to get my key fixed three times because it had expired.
