Breezeway Motel and Resturant

It was tough to leave, and I only wish we’d had more time there. We came for a family gathering and were so happy with both the Breezeway Motel and Restaurant. John was a real treasure, kind, helpful, and accommodating whenever we had a question. He also gave us great suggestions. The room was spotless and just right, and everyone we met was warm and friendly. A waitress described the pace as “Island Time,” and that felt right: calm, relaxed, patient, and with people always ready to help rather than ignoring you. Thank you, John, for everything you did for us.

We booked at the last minute to visit family, and the manager was friendly and flexible. It was off season, but the place was still clean and peaceful. The fishing pier and its views were our favorite part, and the beach was close by too. We’ll come back in summer.

We decided on a last-minute trip to get out on the water, even though we were less than an hour away. The place was affordable, very clean, and in a wonderful spot. The Inn Keeper made the weekend great, thank you! Rain lasted all weekend, but we still had a good trip and enjoyed the beach. The restaurant food was great too, so be sure to eat there if you visit. John, the Inn Keeper, was great and shared useful fishing advice and places to eat. The staff at the Breezeway restaurant next door were lovely too, and the food was awesome. There’s a private pier on the sound side, which is a nice feature. We had a great stay and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a getaway at Topsail Beach.
