Pam and William made a real effort to accommodate my trip, and they're lovely people. Breakfast was delicious and felt more like eating at home than being somewhere unfamiliar. The main house has charming shared rooms where you can read by the fireplace or spend time with other guests. The rooms are gorgeous and thoughtfully decorated. It's also a handy spot for getting to Charlottesville without dealing with the traffic. I'll be back.

We left feeling relaxed and cared for, and we're already looking forward to coming back. My wife and I celebrated my birthday at this beautiful historic estate, where the delightful innkeepers welcomed us with wine and a carefully prepared cheese board, then showed us around and shared the home's history. We spent a peaceful snowy afternoon reading by the fireplace. The next morning's homemade breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, and they kindly accommodated our dietary needs. They also had great suggestions for nearby activities. Every detail felt heartfelt.

The guest rooms are superb, with six different themes and comfortable beds that gave me the best night's sleep I've had in a while. Hollymead House B&B feels like an English country home, with elegant rooms, beautiful furnishings, and warm common spaces full of books. Breakfast includes homemade granola, a daily selection of distinctive biscuits, and Greek yogurt, so you'll be well fueled for the day. Pam and William Calary are some of the kindest people I've met. I got to know them during my stay, and they're personable, great conversationalists, and full of helpful recommendations. Thoughtful touches throughout show how much they care about guests. It really feels like a home away from home in Charlottesville, and I highly recommend it.

The house has so many rooms with period details that take you back in time. We especially enjoyed talking with Pam and William, who were wonderful hosts. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was delicious and filling. We had a wonderful time at Hollymead House Bed and Breakfast. Thank you, Hollymead House.

The historic farmhouse has been restored beautifully. Its original hardwood floors and antique furniture preserve the feel of the past, while the updated bathrooms and cozy bedding make it a very comfortable place to stay. We found it delightful.
