Casa Del Mar 5 Beach Access

We've stayed twice now and upgraded from the studio to a bigger room this time. It was still a great experience, and one of the cleanest, best-set-up apartments we've stayed in. It's close to the beach, and though the outside area, flooring, and bathroom are showing wear, everything was functional and clean. That wouldn't keep us from coming back. The manager is helpful, nice, and quick to respond. A couple of suggestions: upgrade the cookware, since there wasn't a frying pan, which is what we use most, and replace some broken beach gear.

The beach is right there and wasn't crowded, even on a gorgeous Saturday. Vickie was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The unit was super clean and had unexpected extras, including suntan lotion, which I badly needed since I hadn't checked a bag, plus beach chairs and towels that came in handy. I had a great stay and will definitely be back!

The location is really great, very close to the ocean, but parking now costs $20 a day, and there's no free or private parking. We've been here several times, and the photos don't show how old the apartments have become inside. This stay the apartment wasn't clean, just like last time when it hadn't been cleaned before we arrived. Then, after we called about the dirt, they gave us a different apartment. This time many things were old or broken, the AC didn't work properly, and the bathrooms were gross. Since we were only staying a short time and wanted to relax, we decided not to call the agency. All the rooms need renovation. And about the agency's reply: nope, I'm definitely at the right place. Sorry, but my opinion stands, even if it bothers you.

The private backyard was lovely, and the location right beside the beach was perfect. Lots of amenities were included. Vicky, the manager, was really sweet and understanding, and went above and beyond for us during our stay. Highly recommend!
