CH Luxury Condos & Studios On The Beach

I booked through the reservation desk because I wanted to be near the beach. They helped me compare a few places, and I chose CH luxury hotel condos after deciding the parking cost at Gale hotel was too much for my birthday trip. When I arrived, parking was self-park, which was fine, and the woman at reception was pleasant enough. I was charged extra fees I hadn't known about, and was told those came with the condos. The room was 225, and I was upset as soon as I walked in. The bed was extremely low, around calf height on me at 5'2", and that wasn't going to work for my 6'1" boyfriend. The room wasn't what I expected. A notice said not to contact the front desk and gave an email for the owner. I wrote to them after checking in on May 15, but by May 26 I still had no reply. The shower pressure was so weak that washing or rinsing my hair was nearly impossible. The advertised city view was blocked by two coconut trees, with a white building and air conditioning units right in front of us. It was embarrassing to call that a city view. I complained to the reservation desk and asked for a partial refund because of the misleading view, not a full refund. They refused and didn't offer another solution. I was told I could check out while they contacted the owner, but finding another hotel in Fort Lauderdale at the last minute and moving wedding items would've been difficult. Since the booking was nonrefundable, leaving would also have meant paying for two rooms. I trusted my instinct to stay put. I wouldn't recommend room 225 if you want a city view, decent water pressure, or a nice room.
