Hollywood Beach Tower

My five stars are for Sammy alone. I'll review the room separately, and that one definitely won't get five stars. From the minute I arrived, Sammy was kind, professional, and welcoming. He made me feel like he truly cared, and brought so much warmth and joy to the hotel. He was the only person who made me feel seen and special. I'd gladly come back just for his hospitality. God bless you, Sammy. Keep shining and making people feel this good!

The ocean views and beautiful sunrises were a highlight, and the beach is close by. There's also plenty to do along the boardwalk, or you can just take a walk. The area felt clean and completely safe, and it's a family-friendly place. The staff are friendly, especially Sammy. Miss Eva, the manager and supervisor of the whole hotel, is my favorite. She keeps things running well and makes sure anything under her responsibility is done properly and on time. She's a very pleasant supervisor. I plan to return every year.

The room smelled musty, and whenever the AC started up, it smelled like dirty socks and mold. Even the chair smelled like urine. The place is dingy, with water puddles around, and our luggage had to be carried up a dirty stairwell. We were told there was breakfast, but never found it. It’s a dirty hotel. I’ve stayed in two-star places that smelled better. The decor looks and smells like the 1980s. Getting to the beach means walking down a dirty alley that feels a bit frightening after dark. Parking is limited and cramped, especially for bigger vehicles.

The resort is well kept, especially the pool and hot tub, and sits at the quiet end of the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk, away from the noise. The Towers are within walking distance. We've been visiting for years and haven't been disappointed. The staff are genuinely friendly and accommodating. Gilbert and Frederick are top drawer, always professional, calm, and helpful. G Maditse
