The host was friendly and replied promptly, but we wouldn’t choose this place again for what we paid. The beds were comfortable and clean, which was the main bright spot. We had two rooms and both had the same problems: tiny showers, hardly any hot water and very low pressure. Our bathroom floor had hair scattered across it, and the property felt run-down and dingy, in need of updates and better upkeep. It felt like lipstick on a pig, with superficial appeal that didn’t hold up close. The shared outdoor tables and chairs were often left dirty by previous guests, so they weren’t usable without cleaning them first. The Laguna’s location is excellent. It’s just off the main strip, so the beach directly in front was quieter and less crowded than nearby busier spots. We chose it for that location and the positive online reviews, but the hotel itself fell well short of expectations.

The condo was spacious, clean and had all the amenities my husband and I needed, plus beach chairs and towels. Our host Marco is very attentive and responds right away when anything comes up. We can walk out of the condo, cross the street and reach the Broadwalk easily. We love the location and have made Laguna Blu Beach our go-to almost every year for the last four years. It’s always a wonderful stay, and we’ll definitely be back and recommend it to others.

The beach was only about 150 feet away. My two adult girls and I spent five days in a clean, cozy room that was just right, with a lovely setup for relaxing and having fun.

At first I thought I’d booked a suite, but it turned out to be a hostel with shared amenities, something the listing didn’t disclose. Parking was inadequate, and the host didn’t send the check-in information until it was too late to cancel or reschedule. The instructions were incorrect, so I couldn’t get into the room. When I pointed that out, the host was rude.

The location is just steps from the beach, and the place is lovely. Coming from Dubai, I couldn’t believe how nice it was. It really feels like home. Marco was friendly, and everything went smoothly. I paid online and got the door code in two seconds. I’ll visit again and again.
