We had three couples staying there together, and the outdoor area worked nicely as a place to hang out. It gets quiet, so we enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the waves. The location is perfect, and the price is reasonable. It’s not fancy, but it worked for us, and we’d stay again. Leila kept in touch throughout. We had a few minor issues, but one phone call got them sorted. I’d written a much longer review, but it crashed, so this is what I’ve got.

The location is great, but this was my second and last stay here. People smoked on the decks and walked around the pool, with no signs anywhere. The kitchen had just one pot, and it was badly scratched with peeling Teflon. The kettle looked at least 20 years old, with a corroded bottom and hard-water buildup. Gunk came out when I poured it. The frying pan was usable, at least. The pull-out sofa bed was unbelievably dirty and had a very thin mattress, and there was a hair in the shower. The water was shut off for a while. The plumber told me it wasn’t an emergency and suggested waiting until another day, but the manager said no. Another guest had no water in her shower and asked me who to call. Do yourself a favor and book a room across the parking lot.

I’ve just returned from a little vacation here. It’s a quiet, relaxing spot, only a two-minute walk from the sand. On weekend days you can hear beach music and people having fun, but that didn’t spoil it for us. There’s a small pool, a grill, and a little shade from the sun. Publix and some great local restaurants and treats are only a few minutes away.

The apartment was clean, in good shape, and peaceful. It was just right for our family of three adults and two kids. Booking and check-in and checkout were easy, and we appreciated the small picnic area between the property and beach for lunch. The kids liked watching the birds and squirrels. The pool was pleasant and partly shaded, a good place to relax out of the direct beach sun. The beach nearby gets very busy after 11am, though the walk there is very short. We slept poorly because the furniture wasn’t comfortable, especially the mattress, and the cookware could use an update. Even so, we’d book again for the location, easy process, and the overall peaceful feel of our stay.
