Bali Hai Beachfront Resort and Spa

Being right on the beach was the best part of our stay at Bali Hai. The three of us spent three wonderful nights in the two-bedroom suite by the pool, which suited us even better than we'd expected. Thanks to Catherina, Angel, Michael, and the rest of the staff for making us feel so welcome. Everyone was accommodating and helped make the stay enjoyable. I know I'll be back.

The staff were great, really friendly, and gave us helpful suggestions for food and things to do. We also liked the trolley stop right outside the hotel, the easy beach access, and the umbrellas and chairs. I enjoyed the stay at Bali Hai, and I think the place has a lot of potential. A big part of the hotel was under construction, though, and the view wasn't great. I wish we'd been told before booking, as other hotels have done. The lounge area needs updating, and the pool was like a warm bathtub. Cooler water and longer pool hours would have been nice. The whole place seemed to shut down around sunset, and lights by the pool could make it feel more welcoming in the evening. People who weren't staying at the hotel used the pool in their clothes for a day, taking up space and causing some chaos. After reading reviews, I get the impression the owner only responds to positive ones. It feels like guests' wishes and constructive feedback aren't being taken into account. I'd rather focus on what went well, but I think a few changes could help this place reach its potential.

Even with construction going on and the season quiet, we had a lovely time here. The beach was beautiful and clean, with white sand, and our room was pleasant and very clean too. We're so glad we found this place and can't wait to come back next year! 🥰

Thais at the front desk was one of the few bright spots. She was kind, responsive, and really tried to welcome us and address our concerns when we arrived. The direct beach access and beautiful location were lovely, but for the price, our stay at Bali Hai Resort was disappointing, and we wouldn't return. The place felt more like an old roadside inn than a resort. Our dated room had a persistent, strong humidity smell that made it uncomfortable to relax inside, even with the A/C running. Housekeeping was inconsistent and missed details, adding to the sense that the property wasn't well maintained. The pool was small and didn't feel inviting for a resort. There was no restaurant or food service, not even a snack bar or café, so every meal meant going elsewhere. At these rates, we expected at least basic dining options. Between the old accommodations, lack of on-site food, and poor value, Bali Hai didn't live up to its resort label.
