Bamboo Apartments

We stayed in Apartment 4 for two weeks and enjoyed it a lot. The waterfront setting is such a joy, and the property is lovely. Alice was a delight when we met her after checking in, friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated the welcome basket. The unit has been beautifully renovated since the devastating storms a few years ago while keeping its old Florida charm. We're hoping we'll be able to book again next year.

We were right on the beach, just a few steps from the room, and saw dolphins every day plus a manatee now and then. The sunsets were amazing too. We've stayed twice and plan to return to this hidden gem. It's a laid-back place with old Florida charm, no hustle and bustle. The rooms are bright and clean, with lots of thoughtful details, and the kitchenette had all the amenities we might need. Alice and her staff were top notch, just a phone call away if we needed anything. A couple of small restaurants nearby are good for a burger, but for anything more you'll need to drive or take the trolley.

This was our fourth year in a row staying in beach apartment #2, and we've already started planning a return in 2026. Alice, Mr. Steve, and Happy the dog are a big part of what makes it special. The location is hard to beat, with private and adjoining street access that made getting to the sand and surf easy. The unit was spotless when we arrived and had thoughtful things that made it feel like home, including plush beach towels, chairs, and coolers. We loved the patio tables and chairs at each unit and around the property, especially for morning coffee or a sunset drink. Our host communicated promptly and warmly throughout, which made everything seamless. It was good to see the recovery work after last year's hurricane. Our continued prayers are with the island's residents and businesses. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Thanks for another memorable stay!

We loved our six nights at Bamboo Apartments, right on Anna Maria Island beach, with the sand only steps away. The apartment was spotless, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. You can tell a lot of thought went into the details. The host was friendly and responsive and made us feel at home. Waking up to ocean views and sitting with our feet in the sand at sunset was pure bliss. It's a truly beachfront location, and we can't wait to return!
