The building has a heated pool, hot tub, BBQ area, meeting room, tennis court, and lounge chairs for sunbathing. There’s also 24/7 security, secured entry and parking, and a resident manager. As of Oct 13, 2020, the maintenance fee included central AC, electricity, water, hot water, sewer, cable, internet, and common area expenses. The Canterbury Units are huge compared with the newer condos in Kakaako. The one-bedroom D stack, for example, is 1164 total sq ft, bigger than most two-bedroom units and even some three-bedroom ones. Large lanais are another plus, though some have been enclosed, and the views overlook Fort DeRussy park. The D unit also has 180° views of Diamond Head, the ocean, the mountains, sunrise, sunset, and city lights at night. For the price per square foot, it’s an amazing buy. This is a great building.

We spent six months here and made so many memories. The views are spectacular all around, and the complex is outstanding, with a pool and jacuzzi. It’s very clean.

No stars. I went to check on a friend who lives there because she wasn’t answering her phone. I explained the situation to the door guy Ray and asked him to send someone or knock on her door. He said it wasn’t his job, as if tenant safety wasn’t part of security. Then he called the police on me and hid in the office. The police, thankfully, checked on her and made him let me in. I’m filing a complaint.

They run leaf blowers early every morning. Residents have complained, but they don’t care. It may not break any noise ordinance, but it’s rude, lazy, and unnecessary.

The pool and Jacuzzi are wonderful, and the property feels very secure. There are beautiful views of both the city and the ocean. It’s also close to Hilton Hawaiian Village and the beach.
