Discovery Bay #4118-Resolution Tower

The canal and mountain view was beautiful, and having parking spot #669 included made things very convenient. Discovery Bay staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful whenever we needed them. After a rough arrival, the condo itself became one of our favorite Hawaii rentals. It was worth the money, and we’d consider staying again, though older Honolulu properties can bring hiccups, especially with plumbing. We stayed in Discovery Bay Condos, Resolution Tower, Unit 3717, from May 20th to June 19th, 2025, after booking in January. We missed our flight connection and had a six-hour layover in Detroit, which dampened the family’s excitement. We reached Honolulu around 8:30 PM HST and collected the keys from a security guard in the main lobby. The unit still had used cleaning rags and unwashed bedding, plus an unpleasant smell we never identified. We cleaned it ourselves rather than wait, which was fine since we like doing things a certain way. The first keys didn’t work, but the host quickly responded with replacements. I misplaced those later, and the host explained the replacement fee would be $125, which I understood. Inside, the condo was nice and had what we needed: kitchen utensils, towels, a washer and dryer, a TV, and A/C. Internet was unreliable and often disconnected, though the TV worked well. The washer and dishwasher can’t run together because they share a pipe with the kitchen drain, or there may be a small flood. The A/C was great, and we recommend opening the bedroom windows at night for a cool breeze. Emergency vehicle noise was noticeable, but expected in Honolulu.

Right in the middle of everything, and kept in good shape. When an issue comes up, it gets sorted out promptly.
