Handy spot, right near the bus route and Ala Moana.
Sweet place.
A pretty cool spot with lots of boats docked nearby, plus a nice beach for surfing.
Living here taught me how hard it can be to get help when something goes wrong. Management returned my packages from the start, even though I’d finished the building paperwork, and blamed the rental agent. A ceiling and adjoining wall leak was brushed off as “residual” and took over a month to fix. I also noticed what seemed to be a steady stream of short-term rentals and Airbnb guests in the building. When my parking spot was damaged or vandalized, there wasn’t a real effort to sort it out. I was redirected to policies and formal processes. Once I pushed for an answer, the response quickly became more legal and formal instead of working toward a simple resolution. The building emphasizes security, but support when problems come up is lacking. I wouldn’t expect much help if you need it.
I’ve got friends and family living here, and I’ve enjoyed cookouts, the pool, hot tub, sunsets, tanning, and workouts at the property. The amenities and location feel just right, and the units are what you’d expect for Waikiki. Elevators provide wheelchair access. I think there’s security or help on site almost 24/7. I’m sure you can find vacation rentals here, so it could be a nice place to try out Hawaii for your next vacation.
