Jessi at the front desk was especially welcoming and helpful. After checkout, they let us store our bags, rent beach equipment, and use the washroom before we left, which was really convenient. The room got a bit noisy at night, but earplugs blocked it all. They don’t provide complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, or shampoo, though the ABC store right across the street has them easily available.

There are lots of places to eat nearby, and the beach is close. The kitchenettes were very convenient, and they offer free ice along with beach rentals like towels, boogie boards, umbrellas, and chairs. The hotel was very accommodating, and we had an amazing stay. It is noisy, so bring earplugs. We’d read the reviews beforehand and knew to expect that.

The rooms are old but charming, and there’s a kitchenette and seating area when the Murphy bed is folded up. It’s centrally located in Waikiki, across from International Marketplace and a five to ten minute walk from the beach. This isn’t a luxury stay. Free parking takes time to find along Ala Wai or the side streets, otherwise you’ll need to pay somewhere else. If you’re trying to spend as little as possible and plan to walk or Uber, it works. I’d stay here again to save money.

The location is nice for nightlife and the city, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I was locked out for a while and asked why there wasn’t a working phone number. Manager “Jesse” was hateful to me, and the staff took offense when we asked for extra towels. They were very rude. I’ve never even left a bad review before.
