The rooms are a decent size, and for the price this is a reasonable hotel, though a few things could be better. Parking spaces are narrow, so larger vehicles need to take care. My sedan was fine. The elevator was also very slow, though I’m not sure if there was maintenance going on.

Ask for room 924 if you want the amazing Diamond Head and ocean views from the lanai. I loved the little fridge and coffee maker, and they also have an ice machine and laundry. The front desk and housekeeping staff were so friendly. They provide complimentary coffee and filtered water, and I loved that the rooms use HAWAIIAN TROPICS. There’s free street parking around the corner, but check street sweeping hours or you’ll get towed. The best surprise was free admission for two to the Bishop Museum, open 9am-5pm, and the Honolulu Museum Of Arts, open 10am-6pm Wednesday-Sunday. That’s a big saving, and both are worth visiting. Ala Moana Mall, my money mall haha, is an easy walk and a pretty, open-air mall. There’s a great market on the corner for whatever you need, and Sunny's Local Grind is just around the corner. Highly recommend. Have a wonderful time visiting Waikīkī Aloha #waikiki #aloha #aquaaston#aquapalmswaikiki #anaquaboutiquehotel

The hotel made our honeymoon feel special. After we moved rooms, a thoughtful surprise arrived: champagne and delicious Hawaiian chocolate. We really felt welcomed and celebrated. At first, my wife and I were given a room with two separate beds, which wasn’t ideal. Receptionist Kasey was incredibly kind and professional, and went out of her way to move us to a great room with a king-size bed and a beautiful city and ocean view. Her care set the tone for the whole stay. The hotel is convenient for Waikiki attractions, beaches, and dining, while still being peaceful and comfortable. Our room was cozy, clean, and well designed, and a nice place to relax after exploring the island. We’re grateful to the Aqua Palms Waikiki team for their hospitality and attention to detail. We’d happily return. Highly recommend!

It’s cheaper than other nearby hotels, but perfectly fine. I was here on a business trip, and the location worked well, between the Convention Center and the beach. There are lots of places to eat nearby, including food trucks about a five-minute walk away. The rooms are nice, although the bathtub was very old and had a dirty rubber stopper. The cleaning staff were appreciated. The hallways and doors look quite old and unattractive, but there’s a snack vending machine in the hall. When I reported the broken coffee machine, they quickly brought out a coffee urn for guests, which was efficient. Staff weren’t pushy or tip-hungry, and I value that discretion and the peaceful atmosphere. There’s a bus stop right by the hotel and a laundry room too. For a vacation, I might choose somewhere closer to main Waikiki Beach. But if you want a budget friendly hotel and don’t mind a bit of walking, I’d absolutely recommend it.

We’ve been here two nights and are really enjoying it. Shops and restaurants in our building make the location great, and having Hilton Hawaiian Villages across the street is a nice bonus. Our room is very clean and has what we need, including a balcony, comfortable beds, microwave, and a good-sized fridge. I’d look to stay here again if I came back to Oahu. The only thing that bothers me is that the balcony door doesn’t latch. We’re around ten stories up, so there seems to be very little break-in risk, but it still feels a bit unsettling.
