I stayed four days on my own and loved the place. Renee was a warm host who helped me settle in, and I really enjoyed getting to know Matt and Anita at the bar. Every staff member was super nice, and my room was cleaned every day. It’s central for getting around, close to Waikiki beach and other shopping centers, and not far from the airport. Parking was easy. Even when there wasn’t a spot available, the staff were accommodating and helped find one. Loved, loved, loved this place.

The blinds could shut completely to make the room dark, or open up to let in lots of light. There was also a nice balcony to sit on, and the rooms were comfortable with good AC. The bathrooms were a little small but perfectly fine. The staff were very polite, and I was very satisfied with my stay. I had a great trip, thank you. When I come back to Honolulu, I’ll stay here again, hands down.

The bartender complained the whole time she was cooking my “frozen solid” grilled cheese. It came out inedible, and she knew it. She said she’d “tried, oh well,” then offered us water as we were leaving. She hadn’t even offered water with the awful food.

The lounge and breakfast cafe were the highlight for us. We loved the little lounge area and pool. It’s a cozy little hotel in a great location, close to everything, and the friendly staff were accommodating. Our room was clean and had the essentials stocked. The balcony needed cleaning, with lots of bird poop and debris, and street noise kept us up most of the night. Noise-dampening curtains might help. The room looked nice, and we had a great stay. We’ll be back.

The breakfast choices are good, and the place has a cute, comfortable feel. The cold brew was the best I’ve ever had. Be friendly and they might even tell you how they make it. Such a great local find in Honolulu, I’d definitely recommend it.
