We had a lovely family dinner on the terrace at Bali Restaurant. The Rainbow Tower is part of the Hilton Hawaiian Village, with its rainbow mural on the side, and our room on the 29th floor looked out over Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. The smart elevators were neat: you enter your room number at the panel and it sends you to one of six lifts. Shops, restaurants, pools, and the beach are all just steps away.

The staff were wonderful, the beds comfortable, and the ocean and Diamond Head view from our 31st-floor room and balcony was breathtaking. The room had a mini fridge and Keurig, though I wish there’d been a microwave. Awesome vacation!

The staff were humble and professional, and I’d happily stay here again on my next visit to Waikiki beach. We booked five nights in a high-floor ocean-front room, and it met our expectations. The two balconies had spectacular views, one facing the ocean and the other the city. Since it’s right on the beach and you can walk to everything you need for a vacation, I’d absolutely recommend it.

Our room was spacious and clean, with a great balcony view of the pool and ocean. The food was very good at restaurants within walking distance. I’d recommend taking the Blue Line trolly tour around the island.

We’ve been coming for over 20 years, and we still see many of the same staff. That says something about Hilton and its management. Every room in the Rainbow Tower has an ocean view, and the tower, part of Hilton Hawaiian Village, has the iconic rainbow mural on its side. It was renovated recently and still has that new smell. The staff look after us with upgrades, so bring gold or diamond status if you want a room upgrade.
