The White Sands Hotel has a retro look, and there’s no lift, so guests need to take the stairs. My room was a decent size, with a comfortable king-size bed, balcony, pool view, fridge, microwave, kettle, TV, safe, telephone, and hairdryer. Housekeeping is available on request; otherwise, fresh towels are brought to the room every three days. Heyday is open to the public, so it can get a little noisy on some days, though it quieted down around 10 p.m. The bar has delicious drinks and swings to sit on, and there’s also a speakeasy bar. Staff were consistently very friendly, courteous, and helpful. My only negatives were the lack of cutlery and cups. I’d definitely come back.

RJ was so helpful and made us feel at home, and Maygan was really nice too. The food was excellent, and I loved the swings at the bar. I was there for Super Bowl weekend and had a blast. Highly recommend the coffee options, and don’t miss the breakfast burritos. Best stay!

The swings are cute, and the location is convenient. We knew White Sands wasn’t a high-end hotel and didn’t come in with high expectations, but we enjoyed our stay. What really makes it worth staying is the staff: everyone was welcoming and ready to help with whatever we needed. RJ is the best, and White Sands is lucky to have him.

The intimate pool area had such a nice vibe, and the small hotel felt more homey. The rooms could use some work, but I found mine comfortable for the price. Staff members we met were friendly and happy. The location was perfect, with the beach two short blocks away and shopping and food options one block away. We loved staying at White Sands and would definitely return.

Megan was incredible. I hope the Lord blesses her in every way. I loved White Sands. There’s no elevator, so if stairs are difficult for you, make sure your room isn’t on the third floor. I’m judging it by value. This isn’t the Ritz, and if you’re used to luxury, it may not be what you want. I’m on a budget and felt I got a lot for my money. A small ABC store nearby is like a 7-Eleven, and scooter rentals are close too. The amazing International Market was so near that my 73-year-old butt walked there every day to get something. Some food places were very expensive, but I found other options that were quite reasonable. I walked to the beach, and bus stops for getting around were nearby.
