Brookside Bed & Breakfast

The mountain-view room was huge, with a nice surround sound system and TV, plus a private back balcony where we drank coffee in the morning. The grounds were beautiful, and it’s right beside a golf course with a great restaurant of its own. Breakfast both days was fantastic, and all three of us loved it, including my two-year-old, which is a tough crowd to please. The chef was wonderful and very personable, and we enjoyed chatting over breakfast. Best of all were the people. The owner lives on site, and made us feel like he was welcoming us into his home. He said he got into running a B&B casually, but he seems like someone who’d succeed at anything because he’s so kind and easy to talk to. It was one of the best places I’ve stayed. We’ll definitely try to come back, and I’d recommend it to anyone. Stop looking and book it.

We were welcomed by the owner, who was very friendly and shared lots of useful information. Our room was spacious, well equipped, and had a lovely veranda looking over the gardens. The B&B sits uphill from Hood River in a beautiful, large house with extensive, well-kept grounds. Guests can use a big shared kitchen, where breakfast is served, and coffee is available all day. An amazing, first-class B&B in every way 😲

We had a clean, updated, warm and friendly stay at Brookside, right on the golf course. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the fridge came stocked with beer, wine, and water. Don was a great host. We’ll be back, and might also try the tennis court, pool table, and basketball hoop on the lovely five acres.

The bedding was clean and comfortable, the owner was super friendly, and the landscaping is beautiful, right beside a golf course. What more could you ask for? Thanks for the free cherry, too.
