Don’t live here. While I was living there, the building was full of roaches for a year. The owner came to look at my room twice, but even after I repeatedly asked for the problem to be fixed or to move to another room, nothing happened. The doors are broken, so anyone can get in and out. Gloria says there are working cameras and has signs saying so, but none of them work. While I was out of state, my car was broken into. No report was filed, and they couldn’t see anything on camera. Gloria’s worker, Marcus, called to tell me about the break-in, then said nothing had been stolen. I don’t know how he could know that, and I don’t understand why there was no report. I told them I’d be back the following week to have the car towed and scrapped, and two other people told Gloria that too. But when I returned, the car was gone. Gloria had it towed without my permission or even telling me, then had it scrapped with my clothes, shoes, athletic equipment, and other belongings still inside. When I asked about it, she got defensive and made me leave the building. There was no communication, and it was so unprofessional.

I came for one night to see a concert at CMAC, and the reservation I’d made months earlier had vanished. In the room there was a hole in the wall and dirty water on the floor, apparently left after someone tried to clean in a hurry. The manager blamed the maintenance guy, who had just quit, but why wasn’t the room checked before I was sent there? Amanda didn’t help with the situation and just made smart remarks. I won’t stay here again, and I’ll make sure people I know don’t go there either. This place was god-awful.

For a monthly studio apartment or hotel room, this is nicely priced and looks good. The room is clean and modern, with a small but well-laid-out kitchen. The bed is comfortable, and the sheets and pillows are good quality. My only gripe is that the included cable has poor picture quality.

The shower was uncomfortable because the showerhead was broken, and the TV wouldn’t work. There weren’t any towels or a trash can, and the room was filthy. I showed the owner a video of the room’s condition, but she flatly refused to watch it and said it had been “professionally” cleaned. Don’t waste your money on this dump.

The location worked well for a concert at CMAC, but the price was high for what you get. The hallways and room were dirty and dusty, and the room smelled. Bedding is provided, but I didn’t trust that it was clean, so I brought out my own.
