Homestay Horn Lake / Southaven MS

The beds were comfortable, and after we found roaches crawling in the bathtub, the manager moved us to another room. I didn't see roaches in that one, and checking under the mattresses, I found no bedbugs. The rooms were meant to be nonsmoking, but smelled like something had been sprayed to cover another odor. The heater only blew cold air. Breakfast had the usual options: waffles, eggs, bacon, bagels, yogurt, juice, and cereal. The waffle batter smelled moldy and tasted sour, so we didn't eat it.

Another guest's vehicle blocked me into my parking space, and I missed the first three hours of work. When I asked management to get the owner to move it, he said it was my responsibility to find the owner and ask them, or call a tow truck and tell them I'd had the vehicle towed.

There were bugs and roaches throughout the dirty room, and the walls and ceiling were damaged. I wouldn't recommend it.

The refrigerator's freezer section was extremely dirty and moldy. Breakfast was the usual, but the apple and orange juice had things floating at the bottom. Food was limited to sausage, waffles, eggs, cereal, a few bagels, and Activia yogurts. Breakfast sucked.
