Keisha at the front desk made a real difference during my stay. She was sharp, professional, and helpful with every question, gave me useful recommendations, and paid attention to the details. The rest of the experience was just as welcoming: the Holiday Hotel was clean and well organized, the room was comfortable, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I had a great stay and would absolutely recommend it. I’ll be back.

The location worked really well for visiting Mammoth Cave or Kentucky Down Under. Inside, everything was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and the shower pressure felt great after a long day exploring. Staff made me feel welcome as soon as I checked in, and breakfast was included, with plenty of choice and kept in good shape. I’d stay here again next time I’m around.

When Travelocity caused a problem with my reservation, the staff went above and beyond to help me sort it out. The room was clean and comfortable too. I’ll keep staying here whenever I’m in town.

The breakfast was a real highlight, better than what I’ve had at some expensive hotels. There were cinnamon rolls, cheese omelets, biscuits, pork and turkey sausages, muffins, yogurt, cereal, and oatmeal. Best of all, the machines ground the beans and brewed the coffee right there. It was the first decent hotel coffee I’ve had that didn’t come from a Starbucks in the hotel. I brought my two dogs, and they had plenty of grassy spots for walks and potty breaks. The room on the 3rd floor was spotless and fresh, and the recently remodeled bathroom was spotless too. The shower had strong pressure and lots of hot water. The only small annoyance was a bathroom fan that rattled constantly, so I kept the door closed to quiet it down. The bed was comfortable, the TV worked well, the heat and AC were fine, and the Wifi was very fast. I didn’t see any sign of poor maintenance. There’s a construction site in front that looks nasty, but work didn’t start until after 8am and wrapped up before dark, so the noise wasn’t an issue. The four Tesla Destination chargers out front were handy as well. For an inexpensive hotel, I thought it was top notch and up to IHG standards. I’d gladly recommend it if you’re visiting Mammoth Cave or just passing through.
