Someone was sleeping under the pavilion, which guests are supposed to be able to use and hang out in. That wasn't even the main problem. The manager ran up to my pregnant wife yelling, “No, don't let your dogs pee there, the tree is already dead.” There were no signs saying where we could take them, and she told us to walk them on the other side of the gate, on a lot for sale. The room is dirty, and the building is noisy, with staff screaming down the halls and dogs left unattended barking all day and night. There are spiders and ants everywhere. My wife and I are exhausted because we haven't slept, and we still have one more night here that I'm dreading. I'll never stay here again. I'm not someone who usually complains.

The room was clean, and the staff were nice, but it was uncomfortably hot and took ages to cool down. The elevator was broken, and there were termites in the room.

The morning clerk at check-in was really polite and helped sort out my confusion about the room. She got me into the right one, and I wish I had her name so I could thank her properly. The motel itself was clean and nice, too. Thanks for all the help. I’d recommend Motel 6 to anyone.

Julie at the front desk made a great first impression. She was gracious about letting me check in VERY early and offered seafood restaurant suggestions. The room was spotless, with fresh linens on the firm bed. I liked that the floors weren’t carpeted, though they were a bit slippery. For the price, the room worked well, and I’d stay again. The location is quiet and set back from the main road, which was a plus, though getting there was awkward. Google Maps still lists the property as Claremont and sends you to a locked back gate. Turn in front of the Taco Bell, not on Dixie, to reach the front desk. It’s a budget hotel, so I expected limited amenities. Customer service was the standout, and I’d rate the stay about 4.5/5.
