We stayed 4 nights and had to track someone down whenever we needed towels. They never came in to clean. The room we ended up with was disgusting, with cigarette holes in the sheets and dried blood on the bedding. Before that, they tried to put us in a room someone had literally just checked out of, and he was trying to make us stay there. It was a horrible experience.

At $70/day, I think you can find a much better place. The lighting is lousy: from bed the recessed ceiling lights point right at your face, while the desk is too far away and left in shadow. I understand the possible reason for the setup, to stop guests stealing bulbs or damaging lamps, but it’s still frustrating. The carpet feels sticky, so I wouldn’t walk on it barefoot even briefly. Hard flooring would be better, like I’ve seen in other economy hotels.

The beds are hard, and the pillows are worn out. The AC was locked so I couldn’t adjust it, and the room was too hot. I called the office, but he did nothing.

I stayed for a week, and despite the area, the place was nice, clean, and quiet. The fridge wasn’t working too well, but I told management and they took care of it right away. It was worth it, and I’d highly recommend it.
