I can’t sleep because I’m convinced those mice are going to get me, while my husband snores away. We’d have left in the middle of the night if he hadn’t been working all week and I didn’t have work tomorrow. I’m just waiting to get out of here tomorrow. Please pray the mice leave me alone. 😭😭😭 The rooms are nice and pretty clean, but bring any food in and the mice come out. I thought the mouse in my previous room was just because it was at the end near construction, but the new room has them too. The staff are kind, but they know full well there are mice here. I hope the owner is doing something about this infestation. This place could be a decent extended stay, but it’s too good a property to hand over to mice. One star because of the mice. 🐁

The staff were really pleasant, and check-in and checkout were simple. They don’t clean the room often, which didn’t bother me. If you ask, they’ll bring fresh towels and the like.

I spent several days on site doing an assessment for an insurance claim. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and curious. If I need somewhere to stay in this area again, this would be my first choice.

On October 24-27, 2025, I heard something rustling in the trash while we were asleep. At first I thought I was imagining it, but the next night it got loud enough that I called the front desk. The guy said he could give me a mouse trap because there was no maintenance there. When I got up, I found a mouse in my suitcase eating my chocolate. 🤦♀️ I took the chocolate straight to the manager when she arrived at 7. She photographed it and said that since I’d paid through a third party, the general manager would have to handle the refund, and he’d call me. I was leaving, so I went through Booking too. As of November 20, I still haven’t gotten my money back or heard from the general manager, and Booking says they haven’t received a response. Very unprofessional.

We had a good stay, and the price was very reasonable. The room was roomy and clean. My only minor gripe: there were no bathroom hooks for towels. I’d recommend it if you’re passing through Houston.
