Garden Suites

The room was good for spending the night, and the hotel service was good overall. One of the housekeepers, a short woman, had an attitude and spoke to me in a way I didn’t appreciate.

For the price, this was a good deal, and I’d definitely stay again. The room was clean and somewhat updated, with a big TV and a decent shower. Soap, shampoo, and body wash came in dispensers. The door locked securely, unlike the janky doors or ones that don’t lock at some hotels. Service was fast and prompt, and the parking area was clean and brightly lit. If there’s one thing I know, it’s two for show.

For the price, I was satisfied. Our room was roomy, had high ceilings, and was quite clean, with fresh towels and sheets. It was convenient to the Sam Houston raceway. The ceiling fan wouldn’t work, and the Wi-Fi never connected to the internet, which wasn’t ideal.

I booked rooms here for my family for two months while my baby sister was being treated at MD Anderson. The staff were wonderful, hospitable, and accommodating, and the turn-down service was prompt and thorough. The rooms are affordable and a nice size, so whenever I visit Houston I go straight to this motel. One downside is the extended-stay residents with toddlers. The noise and heavy foot traffic can be unpleasant, so I highly recommend getting a room on the top floor.
